Description: Do you have a strong desire to help people? Join the Adult Critical Care team of the Providence Alaska Medical Center, which is in need of a qualified full time, rotating/variable shift, Patient Care Technician II. This department is the high acuity/intensive care unit of the hospital, and is comprised of 28 total beds. The ideal candidate will Assistant patients with activities of daily living, selective procedures, provide telemetry monitoring and collaborate with team members to coordinate unit activities and flow of information between members of the healthcare interdisciplinary team. Candidates must have a high school diploma Operating Room GED. Completion of a certified CNA program, six months of health care/patient care experience, and basic nursing skills are a plus. Candidates who have taken a Health Unit Coordinator Course will be given preference.
