Description: Providence Medford Medical Center is seeking an outstanding emergency medicine physician to join our team in sunny southern Oregon. New state-of-the-art department is a Level trauma center with every medical specialty available for emergency care. We have a central heart monitor system with 24/7 monitoring, specialized rooms for trauma, critical care, women's health, pediatrics, acute intervention and radiology. Providence Medford Medical Center is part of Providence Health & Services, a not-for-profit network of hospitals, care centers, a health plan, physicians, clinics, home health and affiliated services with operations in Oregon, Alaska, California, Montana and Washington. One of southern Oregon's largest employers, Providence Medford is a fully accredited, 168-bed acute and outpatient care facility. In addition, Providence Medical Group (South) is the largest primary care physician network in southern Oregon, with offices located in Central Point, Shady Cove, Jacksonville , Phoenix and Medford. More than 40 physicians offer internal medicine, family practice, cardiology, OB-GYN and pediatric health care services, as well as general and vascular surgery. The service area population is about 510,000. Medford is located in the heart of the beautiful Rogue River Valley, 30 miles north of the California border. With 70,000 residents, Medford is the largest city in Jackson County.
