Description: Looking for a full time, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. The NNP manages the neonatal patient case load with consultation, collaboration, and general supervision from a physician. Utilization the extensive knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacy and physiology. The NNP exercises independent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of certain medical processes and procedures. These skills may be used in the delivery room, on transport, Operating Room with infants and pediatric patients within the hospital. The NNP is additionally involved in education, consultation and research at various levels.
